As the Project Manager for the European Union-funded FORCE (Future of Reefs in a Changing Environment: an  ecosystem approach to managing Caribbean coral reefs in the face of climate change) project,  I am the contact point for all the partners within the project. My responsibilities include maintaining communication within the project’s consortium, as well as disseminating information about the project. I support the organisation of meetings and other official project-related activities. I also coordinate the reporting for the project and support the project coordinator in the preparation of the annual report, and financial management report in conjunction with the partners.

I have worked within conservation for approximately nine years. With an MSc in Environment and Development Education from South Bank University, London, I have been involved in various environmental education roles including being a volunteer with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, UK and in a consultancy with the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System Project. I also worked for environmental non-government organisations in Belize such as the Belize Centre for Environmental Studies and the Belize Audubon Society for six years which has been one of the best learning experiences. Working for non-government organisations meant you filled many roles and I worked as a resource centre manager, grant writer and project manager.
